Asus A7V and V5 5500 compatibiity problem?

I was just on a gaming newsgroup where someone who's shopping for a new system listed a bid from an unnamed company for an A7V system which had a Tech note that Voodoo5 5500's were not supported. Is there a known problem with this combo? I'm currently running a K7V with a V3 3000, so I'm just asking out of curiosity.

Thats BS.. I see a lot of people running V5500's in A7V's and every other Athlon MB without a problem.
