Asus a7v and turtle beach montego (a3d 1 card)

I can't get this setup working at all. Whenever i have the drivers installed games freeze right away (half-life and quake 3). the minute i uninstall the drivers the games work again. wtf?

asus a7v
256mb pc133 cas 3 ram (mushkin)

i tried the same exact combo when i bought my A7V, i called turtle beach and was told by them to buy another soundcard. which i did, a soundblaster PCI 128 works great!!!

I had the same issues, It gets worse if you manage to get the drivers installed. You wont even get past the log in screen on windows. Only option was to buy something other then Aureal based cards (A3D)

Im having the same trouble. I didnt want to buy a new sound card, but if TB said I have to buy a new card then I guess I have no choice. I dont want to spend $80 on a new sound card at best buy(that is an x-gamer w/ employee discount), but I also want the damn card before I go back to school on the 2nd of January. I cant get anything to install with this damn card, I get blue screens. Damn It! Well, good to know it isnt just me.
