Asus A7V AGP Fast Write ?

Can someone tell me what the AGP Fast Write does and if there is any performance benefit to this feature. I have never enabled this feature in my bios, not knowing what it would do to the other settings. I have a Voodoo 5500, T-Bird 750@1050 and SDRAM@140 CAS2. Your help would be appreciated.
