Asus A7V-133 won't post with a 150MHz FSB...

That's right, it won't.

Don't know why. Wish it would. I know the RAM I have can handle 150MHz. Any ideas why it won't or what I can do to get it up there. A 300MHz DDR FSB would be nice .

Have you tried upping the voltage? Getting a cooler HSF for the chip. If things like this don't work, then you've found the limit of your chip.

VCore is at 1.85 with jumpers.

So you know guys, my chip works fine at 1500MHz.

I'm running it right now at 143*10.5. I want to run it at 150*10.

Yes, it won't work either.

Any speed of 148MHz and up won't post.

I think it's a Nothbridge or PCI problem, it might even be a usb prob ...
did u keep the pci clock close to 33 and the usb clock close to 100 ...
it might just be that the northbridge cannot handle it (after all the KT133 NOT A) could technically go up to 133, but it maxed out at 120 at best ... so I think it's yer northbride that passes out at that speeds ...

what if any pci cards are you using, also what hard drive (some harddrives dont work well on overclocked pci bus, as you probably know the hard drive is on the pci bus)

Did you try cas-3 for ram?
Also try populating only one slot for ram if you have more than 1 filled.
Lastly, not all mobo's are capable of that high fsb. Actively cool the clock generator., try putting a bigger fan on northbridge etc.

what version of the board do you have..does the northbridge have the silver circle on it. Revision 1.04 of the mobo and the ones with the silver circle on the northbridge don't OC as well.
