Asus A7S333 sound problems

Hi,

I just got a new Asus A7S333 mobo and didn't too my research too well because it seems the board has a lot of sound problems. The sound from the on board sound is very scratchy and even using a sound card doesn't help. I have seen some people mention that changing to a AGP video card might help, which makes absolutely no sense... why would video have anything to do with sound?

Has anyone had this problem and if so how did you guys fix it. Seems to be that Asus isn't giving us the best products and they surely aren't having any fixes on their website.

Thanks.

A PCI videocard takes up PCI bandwidth that an AGP card wouldn't.

Thanks for the heads up.

Tried disabling the onboard audio and to no avail. I have an AGP card coming in Tuesday and I am really hoping thats the fix.
