ASUS A7N8X-X FSB issues

After I upgraded from BIOS version 1009 to 1010, I realized that I couldn't change the fsb by 1mhz increments anymore. Rather, there are only 4 options: 100, 133, 166 and 200mhz. I couldn't find anything else in BIOS that could possibly affect this. And all that the ASUS service guys could tell me was to roll back my BIOS. Since I didn't save the BIOS file, I just tried 1009 version from asus's website. However, that did nothing. Hope someone out there can help cuz I really wanna overclock my athlon xp 3200.

Most likely, it's an organizational situation. The function you recall using before is now called something else and is on a different setup page. I have that MB, and will try to remember to visit setup on my next reboot to see where the 1 MHz incremental steps are on mine, for a comparison.

My Asus MB can only be adjusted in 2 MHz increments, and then only if "system Performance" has been set to be "User Defined". Both are on the Advanced Chipset Features page in setup.
