ASUS A7N8X - Questions

Have aforementioned MOBO and have a LinkSys Wireless Router connected to the NVIDIA LAN port

A few questions:

1) What's the difference between the two (NVIDIA and 3COM LAN ports?

2) Should I be using one versus the other?

Please explain.

1)the makers are differentnothing else is different
2)anand did some benchmarks and it turned out that the nvidia had slightly lower performance but the cpu load was very low. the 3com had slightly higher performance but high cpu load

I tested both and they came out very close. I use the Nforce for internet and 3Com for networking my two systems
