So, i got my new mobo and installed the drivers i got with the board, the nVidia drivers. i noticed in another thread that they rececommended to install asus's drivers over nVidia's. my question is this, how do i remove nVidia's drivers to install Asus's drivers? i can't image i just install over'em? i can find in add/remove programs nVidia's utilities and display drivers, but the latter i assume are for my GF2 vid card.

You should be able to find the nForce drivers in the Add/Remove programs. That should take care of it. I would stick to the NVIDIA drivers though since they are newer.

no need to use asus drivers anymore. With the lastest nforce 2 drivers, nvidia took care of any issue with having to use only asus's drivers

LOL, am so glad that everyone else jumped on the A7N8X boards so fast; gives me time to learn from everyone else's pain. ;)

I will be buying this board shortly and really appreciate all the info; just glad that I don't have to live on the cutting edge all the time.

thanks folks.
