I am going to purchase this board in the next few days and I am wanting to get two 512MB sticks XMS Corsair PC3500 (with the 5-ns chips) or the Kinston HyperX (same size, also using 5-ns chips).

The website for this motherboard indicates that it only uses up to PC3200 RAM but I have seen posts from people using PC3500 RAM.

1. Can this board use the PC3500 RAM?

2. Also has anyone had any problems with either of these choices of RAM listed above?

I know they are both very good quality RAM but I just need to know if anyone has had any issues with them in this motherboard.

Thanks

Cal

ive researched the ram issues alot(because ive had them myself), and all ill say is, if you get the hyperx, dont try to run them in dual channel(single channel works fine). thier valueram budget line also isn't that great(lots off issue, bsods, random restarts). id get the corsair. and you should have no problems using the pc3500 ram.

Geil works fine in dual channel configs on the nForce 2 motherboards. I have the PC3500 ultra kit in my rig.
