Hey All
Putting together a system for my sister using the A7N-266. Everything went smoothly....easy install of Win XP Pro followed by the drivers found on the Asus disc. Video is fine and actually the sound is better then I expected but for some reason I cannot get the Lan to function properly. XP recognizes the Network Adapter and indicates proper driver install with no conflicts. I have tried every driver set I could get my hands on including the newest from Nvidia but still no luck. I thought it might be an external problem with my cable modem or one of the connections so I decided to try a stand alone NIC. Slipped that in and I connected immediatley. When I compared the two different network configs I found them to be identical yet one works flawlessly and yet the on board gives me no data transfer whatsoever. Any Ideas?....been looking around most of the afternoon and have found virtually nothing relating to this issue. Starting to fear the worst...lol. Anyway and ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
