I have 2 sticks of Kingston Hyper-X 3000. I know this board only supports up to DDR2100 I think. But can I run the my kingston Hyper-X 3000 ram in it ok knowing it will only run at the 2100 speeds?

So, basically is PC2700 or higher RAM sort of waste for this board? Because, I am looking to buy a 512MB ram for this board, and PC2100 ram and PC2700 ram cost almost same. Is there anything I can gain by using PC2700 here? Thanks.

Oh, one more thing.
1. PC 2100 CL 2
2. PC 2700 CL 2.5
Which one is better performance-wise for this board? Thanks.

Go ahead and get the PC2700 or PC3200, for 2 reasons.

1 you will be able to run it at a lowwer, better, CAS
2 When you upgrade you can carry the ram over.
