ASUS A7N266-VM/AA and the Athlon XP

Just had a quick question, did a search here and couldnt find the answer. I've heard that these boards have no or poor overclocking abilities. I have one and I'm trying to decide whether to buy a 2400+ or a lower speed, hope for a "B", and change the multiplier. Is that possible (to change the multiplier) and if so, what about the fsb (can you change it separate from agp and pci timings). I would appreciate any info. Thanks.

There are no overclocking options with a stock A7N266-VM but there is a mod for allowing it and physically altering the CPU is possible of course. I would recommend the 2400+ and forget about overclocking because the price is right on the 2400+ and you'll get very good performance from it. If you want to investigate the mod there's some info about it here.
