Asus A7m266: will not "restart in windows"

Just got the A7M266, everything works fine but one thing. When you go to restart windows from the Start, Shut Down, Restart Windows....the computer shuts down, but does not restart, just sits there and hangs, with the PS fan still on. What you have to do it either turn the PS off then back on, or do the soft off thing then restart it.

do you have the netgear fa311?? if so that might be your problem. also check your vio1 jumper, i believe you should take that jumper off.

Yup thats the Lan card I have, I just took it out and it works fine. Is that the only one that causes this problem, an recomendatinos on what one to get? Thanks for the info.

yeah, seems like thats the only one that give the a7m266 trouble. i heard 3com's cards work pretty well.

What is this jumper that you must remove? I just purchased an A7M266.
