I've currently got a Duron 800 on a KT133A board. I'm thinking about buying another Duron 800 really cheap and running them on a dual board. I've read that this is possible with Durons like mine. However, before spending money on this, I'd like to be sure that it will actually work. I'm looking mainly at the A7M266-D as the board to use. I'm wondering if anybody has ever run dual Durons on this board. Also, does anybody have any suggestions of a better board for this? Thanks.

From what I have read you can't use the old cores. You have to use 1ghz durons or faster(morgon). I have this board onorder and just ordered 2 1ghz Durons.

2 1Ghz duron shipped only cost $70 Shipped. That and some people have got the 1ghz durons to run at 133Mhz FSB. Thats what I am aiming for.

Thanks for the reply, but according to this article, Anand says SMP is possible with Duron 850s, which have the old Spitfire core like mine. I'm pretty sure that this is possible with at least some boards, so I'm mostly interested in whether or not it's possible with the Asus.
