Hmm... The reference design of 760MP is a love/hate type to me. I prefer the sockets to be in parrarell with each other so more real estate can be saved below it. Moving the memory slots upward toward the sockets and then adding the FDD,IDE1&2 beneath the memory. Therefore leaving an option for a future embedded products under the PCI slots.

Then again that is an WTX configuration i am thinking of.

good board but bad ide placement...

I know my 64bit SCSI card will cover one of the ide spots :(

That is what i was thinking. I don't like the reference design when you have so many components to add over the expansion slots. It looks like they just "jam" packed everything in order to keep the form factor ATX. I have an WTX case and rather have a WTX form factor over this ATX form. Thumbs down to AMD for the reference.

Nah... It's staggered with the PCI slots... should be okay, just have to make the cable go under the card.

I can't wait to get some final specs on this thing as far as cost/perf/compatibility goes.
