Asus A7M266-D Memory Problems

I built a new box for a guy tonight using an Asus A7m266D MB with 4 GB of ECC/Registered Samsung memory. I first started having some quirks during windows installation. I had problems with new Radeon 9700 and then possibly with MS USB keyboard. Finally after removing some memory down to 2 GB Windows ran a successful install. Then I got all the drivers for SB Adudigy, USB 2, Radeon and SP1 installed ok. Now when trying to get back up to full 4 GB, the system starts windows and then locks up with continuous high pitched tone. Does anyone know of any possible solutions to this problem? Would upping the memory voltage one notch help? I need to get this box to Atlanta tomorrow and am becoming quite frustrated. Thanks in advance.
