I will be putting a system together with one of these MB's. It will use an AMD 1.33 Ghz CPU and one stick of 256 MB PC2100 DDR. Can you tell me the pro's and con's of these two; best for OCing, most stable, best BIOS functions, expandability?
Thanks in advance for all your input! Just found this site and really like the "discussions".

The Asus A7M266 will wipe the floor with the regular 7DX. However, if you are into overclocking you should be looking at the Epox 8K7A+ or the Gigabyte 7DXR at this time. The Asus is a great FSB only clocking mother board, the other two have multiplier adjustments along with FSB overclocking. All of the boards are very stable with the Epox leading in performance.

Thank you for the reply Bingo 13. Tell me, is the Epox 8K7A+ the same as the Epox 8K7A except for the RAID addition. I am not sure I want to deal with RAID just yet. Would that move the performance level down sufficiently as to change your recommendations? Is that also the case with the 7DXR (Raid?)?
Don't mean to sound like a wuss, but I have never dealt with RAID and don't really know much about it. I would only probably be using one HDD also.
How about a wild card? What about the DFI AK76-SN?
