Anyone know how to lower the bootup time during win2000 startup. Right after the win2000 professional screen w/ the bar moving on the bottom appears, the screen seats there for like 20-30secs before my keyboard and mouse lights flips and start running all the startup applications. Anyone know a way to shorten that 20-30secs of waiting time? Is there somekind of patch that i have forgotten to install for Ali, ASUS, AMD, Microsoft, and etc.? Please let me know if you have the same problem and had solved it some how. cause I dont remember my old intel P3 taking that long to load into win2000pro. Also with the VIA chipsets after install the 4-in-1 driver the boot time changed dramatically which lead me to think that ALi or ASUS is at fault here. Any suggestion or comments are welcome.
