Asus 9600XT/Win2k problem

Hey, I've recently bought an Asus 9600Xt and everything was going fine. But one day when loading Windows 2000 the computer locked up just as windows was about to boot up. I deducted that it is a video card problem, namely a driver problem because I can boot up windows under safe mode. In safe mode, I uninstalled my video drivers and reset and windows booted normally and worked fine. But whenever I toss on some drivers, it hangs. I've tried the latest ATI, Catalyst, and Omega drivers, but the system hangs at the Win2k load up screen after installing each one. Anyone have any advice? Thanks

Try reseating the video card.
