Available @ accupc.com for $209.00/shipped.
(I'm getting a $10.00 price match on my $219.00/shipped from zipzoomfly.com)
I have Retail card in front of me.
Half Life 2 activation key is INCLUDED for HL2 download (when available) from ATI's site.

Zipzoomfly has what I consider to be the ultimate mid range Radeon card available. I've been watching for it for weeks...been "backordered" ETA- end of October.

Today (11/5/03) I saw it was FINALLY available & I bought it immediately. $219.00/shipped

VIVO is the key(no tuner but I've got a DirecTV box sitting next to me...tuner's are worthless with a cable/satellite box)...DVI, too.

Here's the link!

Couldn't place an order until tonight...ETA end of October annoyed me yesterday...tonight I'm thrilled!
Don't think "coupon" for HL2 is included...other software is..follow the manufacturer specifications link on zipzoomfly for details.

Isn't MSRP on the ATI retail 9600XT going to be $199? I know there's an extreme shortage of 9600XT cards but is it worth the $20 premium right now? And besides the video-in, what does the Asus offer over the ATI?

I guess if you have to have it now, availability is a hot deal. :p

Look at the AIW9700 price/performance to understand. Video IN is key. I have 2 AIW7500s and this card (with included software) is a steal...heck- this card ALONE is a steal!

ATI's AIW 9600 Pro (newly released) is the same price...and pales in comparison!

I AM a market maven!

BS, it comes with nothing but a slip to get the game when the game finally releases, at which point there will be a better card to run it. Taking into account the 50$ game is stupid

zipzoomfly my ass. eX. googlegear. Spits on the floor. Look them up on resellerrating.com under gaygle... uhh google gear. They f**ked with me on my corsair order and I'm never gonna let them live that down. Why? Because they are spot scammers. Wtf is a spot scammer? Well.... hard to explain but not hard for you to figure out what that means. Maybe that's why they had to change they name.

Trust me and others on hardOCP from. Avoid googlegear/zipzoomfly like plague. You can thank me later.

Or specifically people who don't mind running Half-Life 2 at lower FPS or lower quality =P

But I don't think this card is all that fantastic...the 128-bit memory bandwidth seems to really hurt it especially when you look at performance in older non DX9 games...it beats the crap out of DX8 parts in DX9 games obviously, but looking at older games being benched(Quake 3, Serious Sam 2 type stuff) it seems that sometimes it gets beaten by the Ti4200 and sometimes it barely beats it.

And I don't like how even though the 9700 Pro has been out for over a year budget cards still aren't as fast as it =( I mean it's not even vaguely close in performance to the 9700 pro!

I think I shall hold out for the Radeon 12000 MegaUltraExtremeProXXLXT Deluxe Golden Sample. That should totally smoke the GeForce 6200 Ultra!!!
