Asus 9560VS Video Suite - TV on PC?

Hi,

I'm a bit confused about the Asus v9560VS Video Suite video card here as far as being able to use it to watch TV on my PC..

From my understanding, this video card will allow you to watch TV on your PC (Using Asus Digital VCR).. If that's the case, how come the picture of the video card doesn't have a coax connector..? I can only see 2 DVI's and 1 S-Video connector (it comes with 2 x DVI-VGA connectors for standard CRT's).. Does it come with some sort of coax to S-Video cable that allows me to directly connect a coax cable into my video card so that I can watch TV on my PC..? Does it expect me to be hooking up from an s-video out connector from my TV or cable company box to the s-video in on the video card..? Can I get a coax to S-Video cable converter, if it doesn't come with one, to go directly from a coax cable into my video card (that's basically what I want to do).. Would I have to purchase their TV Tuner card as well (god forbid)..

Overall, you'll notice they mention that Asus Digital VCR comes with this video card -- it mentions how it allows you to watch TV on your PC, but I'm confused at how the connection from the TV signal to the PC is suppose to be done given that the video card has no coax in -- there has got to be a way..

Any information on the above (try to be specific) would be appreciated.. Thanks.

Yeah, I don't see as how you are supposed to hook this up to get TV reception. The only thing I can think of is that you could hook it up to a vid-out connector on your tv set via s-video and record vid from there. The page with the digitalVCR wasn't very explanatory. Sorry not much of a help, but consider it a bump anyway.

You would need to get a tuner card:

ASUS Digital VCR
* Scheduling Recording
* Timeshifting
* Video Capturing Yes (TV Tuner Card
needed)

Thanks, I've figured it all out after doing more research (as posted in the video forum)..
