I just purchased a 900a/Linux, and decided to try a few flavors of Linux, and Windows XP. I must have done something wrong because now I get an "Error 2" when the machine posts. I read on multiple forums that you should be able to connect an external dvd drive and use the recovery dvd included by pressing the escape button. This does not work for me, and I continue to get that Error 2 message immediately when I turn the machine on. I know the external dvd drive and recovery dvd are good because I tested them on another machine.
The F9 restore option is not an option either because this partition is gone. Can anyone help me get my system restored? I do not want to have to return this machine or spend a ton of money to have it serviced. Any help would be appreciated.
