Asus 845PE Raid questions for all you owners!

I was thinking about purchasing this board and had a question. For any of you that are using RAID -0 on this mortherboard how did you do it? I have read that the highpoint chipset on this motherboard comes with 2 SATA ports and one IDE port. The drives I plan on using for RAID-0 are both IDE. So then i believe the only way to get my RAID-0 on would be to connect them the the same IDE port as master and slave. Woudlnt this slow down RAID-0 a lot? what did you guys do. thanks would appreciate the feedback
