Asus 7850 Crossfire ~ Uprade?

Currently i have a Asus 7850, i'm planning on getting 2 more moniters, should i get another Asus 7850? i do a lot of gaming and sometimes i think i would play on eyefinity (is that also good?), one more question, for upgrading for crossfire... is it possible to choose other GPUs? like the 7770 or the 7950 etc...

EDIT: i forgot to mention that my motherboard supports FUZION technology (which is basically mix and match ANY graphics card (most of it i think) i would REALLY love to mix my card with a 660ti xD )

Amd supports hybrid crossfire but I think its between the same family for e.g. 7850+7870,7950+7970 etc etc(someone correct me if I am wrong). You will definitely need another 7850 to enjoy multi monitor gaming

Will the faster card run as fast as the slower one or will it run at it's own pace?

As I said it will be a hybrid crossfire setup and performance will depend on crossfire scaling.

I would not put my money on the FUZION hydra stuff, it's driver support is terrible and will most likely with any newer card cause you to fail.

If your getting 2 more monitors (3 total) - you could do crossfire.
(And except driver hickups from AMD):

Or go gtx 680\7970 in a custom cooled OC version.
And still oc them more.

yeah i think you are right

i have the ability in my motherboard to house 2 PCI-E 16X 2.0 cards so i'm guessing i'd be getting some good performance out of these boards 🙂

is it better to get the 7870 instead of the 7850 ?
