Hi my pc config is intel core 2 duo E4400, 2 gigs of ram, 945 motherboard, Cooler-master Thunder 500W PSU, asus 7770 1GB graphic card ( NON Direct CU ii ).

Im planning to buy FX 8350, MSI 970 G46 Motherboard, 4 Gigs of Corsair vengeance Ram and another ASUS 7770 this month. Can the Cooler-master Thunder 500W deliver the power for 2 asus 7770 1GB card? or i wanna buy new power supply?

I would not use that particular psu with that setup. also please dont build a new gaming pc with only 4 gb of ram.

Wouldn't it be a better idea to buy one more powerful GPU rather than crossfire two low end GPU's?

Thanks for ur reply guys. im not a serious gamer but ill play games like BF3, Crysis 3, Dead space 3.... mine is Samsung P2370MS a 1080p monitor. i have played deadspace 3 and BF3 at 1080p res without any lag in my current system intel core 2 duo E4400, 2 gigs of DDR2 ram, 945 motherboard, Cooler-master Thunder 500W PSU, asus 7770 1GB graphic card ( NON Direct CU ii ) . im from india i cont afford money for buying a high end card here. i have seen some reviews about 7770CFX so only decided to buy another 7770.

Problem is your CPU will hold them back.

lol what? you played BF3 with no lag at 1080 with a 7770 and E4400 and 2gb of ram. sorry I dont believe that for second. that cpu is not even close to meeting minimum requirements and 2gb surely does not cut it. heck I had to upgrade from 2gb of ram back in 2008 cause some games were hitching.

7770 crossfire will only have 1gb of vram total and that is not enough to play all games smoothly so that is why people are suggesting faster single card.

This. Or even a 7850 if you cannot swing a 7870. OC the 7850, and get more performance than a CF 7770 setup.
