Hi my pc config is intel core 2 duo E4400, 2 gigs of ram, 945 motherboard, asus 7770 1GB graphic card( NON DIRECT CU ), Cooler-master Thunder 500W PSU.

Im planning to buy FX 8350, MSI 970 G46 Motherboard, 4 Gigs of Corsair vengeance Ram and another ASUS 7770 this month. Can the Cooler-master Thunder 500W deliver the power for 2 asus 7770 1GB card? or i wanna buy new power supply?

Thanks in advance...

I'd get a new power supply simply because yours is not of great quality. Look for something by Antec, XFX, Seasonic, or Corsair, between 600W and 750W if you want CFX.

However, a 7770 CFX a pretty sub-par solution. Here's the problem: games are going to require more VRAM. This is a fact. The VRAM (which is mirrored across the two graphics cards, so it's still 1GB effectively) is going to be the limiting factor soon. You might want to sell your 7770 and get a 7850 2GB instead. You may even be able to snag a 7870 for $150 or so; one went below $150 just last week.

Additionally, a 970A-G46 and a 8350 is pretty expensive; if you want more cores, a 6300 will suffice; if you just want computing power (because you don't believe games will use more than 4 cores before it's time to upgrade once more), a cheap i5 will suffice. You can also get a cheaper motherboard ($60-70). I'd also avoid Corsair Vengeance, which is always overpriced. You can probably get a 2x4GB set of normal profile RAM for the same price or just barely more.

Cooler Master units do usually deliver the labelled power, but perform on a mediocre-to-poor level when it comes to noise and ripple suppression.

If it is possible, you can try to liquidate your current 7770 to raise funds to purchase a 7870 or GTX 660.

That's what I'd do. Running a single card is just so much simpler, and saves the hassles and driver compatibility issues with crossfire...

Just get a HD7850. 7770 Crossfire isn't a good solution IMHO.
Also for PSU you don't need 600 to 750 watts. That's just stupid.
HD7770CF pulls on average 100w or peak 131w.
Add the FX8350 and you'd be perfectly fine with a quality 450-550w PSU.

Like my XFX550w psu was perfectly fine with a 2500K@4.8Ghz/1.38v + GTX470 @940core+max voltage without unlocking the voltage in BIOS.
(the 470 pulls at stock 200w+)

FX 8320 or FX 6350
ASRock 970 EXTREME3

CORSAIR Builder Series CX500 500W
HD 7870 GHz 2GB or HD 7870 XT

Sell your current rig to balance budget
