I just replace my old 32mb ATI card with Asus and it doesn't seem to be working right. The screen keep frozing up on my. I have to open another application (the screen will go black for a second when I did that) and it will unfreeze the screen. Why does it keep doing that. I have the lastest driver install. I tried to set it at different fresh rate and nothing help. Is it because the ATI driver was still in my machine ? I want to uninstall it but don't know where it is (Windows XP installed the driver for me).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

You should put the ATI again and unninstall driver in the control panel. That should be enough to remove them, but people here usually use Driver Cleaner after that. Then just install your Asus.

Good luck

Since I didn't install ATI software utilities, ATI is nowhere to be found on Remove software. I think the driver goes to System32 folder right ? But I don't want to take a chance removing some stuff that I'm not supposed to.
Driver cleaner sounds good. I should look into that.
