Asus 6600gt, corrupt textures (see image), broken card?

I've done everything, uninstalled drivers, reinstalled, updated, re-seated here's my problem:

Anyone seen something similar? I've pulled the card and put in another nvidia card but it works fine. Quicktim actually plays back garbled as well, other games also look bad, but windows interface looks fine and perform ok. I haven't overclocked, have used smartdoctor to set default settings on the card.

Any suggestions? ..besides calling asus? Thanks
 
Is directX correctly installed?
Try to turn Fastwrites off in BIOS.
Try forceware 66.93 or 67.03
 
I ran dxdiag and everything checks fine (running direct 3d test shows same problem with textures).
Fastwrite, it's a pci-express card, so that's not an option.
loaded 67.03, same problem.
 
I think you're right. I've done everything I can think of. I emailed asus, we'll see.

...bummer, I wanted to finish HL2 this weekend.
