ASUs P8H67M-PRO
HONG KONG
We have to go the distributor's office with our motherboard to get replacement service.
However, Hong Kong distributor, Hornington also requires you to sign a legal document
called "Mutual Non-Disclosure and Confidentiality Agreement".
I ask what is 'ASTP' written in the NDA document. The staff say they don't know.
After more than half an hour,
they come back and say it means ASUS asia general office.
So I told them I will not sign any extra document
other than to confirm receiving a new board.
But the staff refuse to change a new B3 ASUS H67 board for me, i
f I don't sign the above legal paper.
Since I don't know the implication, I decide not to sign that legal paper.
Of course, I have to return with my Old ASUS H67 motherboard.
At first, I think....just sign it and get my new board and go.
However, I just don't understand what it says after trying to read
the Chinese version of NDA several times.
I told Hornington staff to give me an English version.
After reading the English version, I roughly understand it.
But I also see the words like "sue by ...for any damage...to pay the damage of ASUS brand image.. etc".
There is no explanation of ASTP in the English NDA document.
I think it is unfair to the Hong Kong customers.
I know that, in other country,
you could get your money back or change other board or they do the replacement by mail.
Is it a Hong Kong case or?
