asus 50x or aopen 52x

I haven an Aopen and hate the thing. Takes forever to spin up and just seems to not want to read the cd sometimes. I'd say definately go w/ the Asus (although the Aopen's eject/tray mechanism is the nicest I've seen yet. 😉
 
but asus 50X are loud. well all 50X are loud, but the asus is slight more than the rest. but it's one fo the fastest 50X around.

I would sacrifice some speed and get a asus 40X. It'll a whole lot quiter and you'll barely notice the difference in speed.
