ASUS 4780 Dark Knight Issue

I just recieved my Asus 4870 DK and was really happy..

On boot up the screen was pinstrped gray and black with text and logos visable in between lines..


Is there soething I need to do other than RMA???

I am waiting for tech support to call me back in the next 24 hours

If by bootup you mean pre-Windows, and it's already artifacting, I'd say the card is screwed. I'd pack it up and start up an RMA immediately (sucks that it's bad on arrival )

Yes pre Windows is messed up with pin stripes..

I am to happy that I waited 5 days for a new card and the effort to re-wire and install card, now have to wait another three weeks or so if I'm lucky..

Just last month UPS lost an order and had to wait 10 days plus 5, I am pretty cranky with this bad card
