The Staples one also has 6gb ram and 6 cell battery. I would say HDMI, extra ram and battery is easily worth $20 more. You also get free laptop lid switch cover with the Staples deal.

wow that is a really good deal. add a usb tuner and plug in my 42" tv and you have almost the exact same thing as my htpc. minus the gaming video card! but for $350 that is just an awesome price

Yeah, they are pretty expensive. The markup on graphics chips are ridiculous.

yup i would say over double the cost. but then again you have to figure it would need better cooling and maybe a faster motherboard so it really would be a whole different animal.

you cant even compare though. i was just joking how my $800 htpc is sort of overpriced now. i mean if i didnt want to game i could just buy this laptop and stick it inside the case and nobody could tell the difference

that's pretty decent spec if i need one I'd get it. but I think the 4cell might mean battery life is bit low, still at this price you cannot complaint.
