ASUS 1201T and 10.4 with Mobility modder no go

I have tried to install 10.4 and can't get the latest drivers to work.

This is under WinXP 32bit. ANyone else have this issue or found a fix?

There is no need for the mobility modder i believe because ATI is now releasing drivers for their mobility parts. Check out their site

I can't get any 10.x drivers to install under XP with this netbook!

Can anyone confirm that 10.x drivers install under Win7? What about Ubuntu ?

ATI's (and now nvidia's) monthly release now works for laptops with manufacturers that have decided not to opt out of this program. However this is only for Win7/Vista users, XP users are out of luck and will probably have to rely on their manufacturer for updates like usual.
