It's a massive multiplayer real time empire managing strategy game. whew that's a long descritption. did i mention real time?

It is set in space and you start with one planet and slowly build it up, eventually colonizing other planets, eventually expanding to other systems. Everything happens very slowly. So you check it once or twice a day, just log onto the site, buy some stuff with your production points, change what you are researching. you don't need more than 5 or 10 minutes. It's like a digi-pet on steroids, that doesn't beep at you every 10 minutes, and its fun. and you can mass a huge fleet and attack other systems if you wish. hehe

I just started playing this game a couple days ago and it's gotten kind of addicting. It's an RTS game and it starts off slow but it's getting more interesting.

It helps that a few friends are playing as well so we're kind of competing against each other.

The last game like that I REALLY enjoyed was Free Space II.

If you've never played this and like space combat arcade-ish sims this game is a cannot-miss even with the dated graphics. (Currently $10 on GOG but frequently on sale for half that)

I think there is a HD remake coming out.

Like a virtual digi pet? Wife & I had a fighting one that was dumb fun for about two days. Train or feed or run your fighter then connect the two and see who wins. She fed hers a lot to there was a ton of mass to the dude. Got real boring real fast.
Everything goes so slow log in once or twice per day and spend points to do stuff? Once or twice per day for 5-10 minutes, wtf how is that “fun”
I’ve played reach for the stars an old amiga game. That had a super slow pace but at bare minimum it was round robin swap seats kind of turn based game and you could at least accomplish something within an hour.
God that game sounds horribly boring to me.

Lol ya this thread is older than that game forum probably. Yes im a a real person lol. Indie game developer. Rebuilt the game cause its one of the best games I've ever played. It would be a great mobile game too. Fair to play and no pay to win.
