It's take my CPU over 30 hours... Is that normal for a AstroPulse 5.00?

Just wondering... Seems like a LONG time.

You didn't say what kind of CPU you've got, so we can only guess if 30 hours is ok or nor. But as far as I remember, 30 hours sound ok for an older CPU.

My last recent Astropulse work unit (run a few weeks ago) took 141 hours to finish on a Sempron 3000 (2Ghz). ;)

Sorry for the noob question but.....

What is so good about Astropulse?

I've always thought of it as annoying for 1 job to take so long. Am I missing something?

I got a Q9550, I guess I see the problem, there is a new build that is suppose to make it go faster...

Thanks...
