That's $50 off normal price.

Reviews seem pretty consistent - saying the sound quality is 'amazing' and pretty much the best, while the mic sound is pretty poor, and the comfort 'very good but not quite great'.

Hm. Not sure if it's worth it. Pretty happy with my $35-$50 Plantronics gamecom.

Eh...they aren't as good as reviews would have you believe. The Mixamp though is pretty great, I use one with my Sennheiser PC360s.

Though you need a soundcard that can do Dolby Digital Live to get simulated surround from a PC. They work fine from a console via optical outputting Dolby Digital.

They're decent headphones but really not all that great. I thought they were sturdily built at first but after taking a harder look at them they aren't as sturdy as they could be. The sound quality isn't too bad and the mixamp definitely has its pluses. Personally I would recommend the Sennheiser PC350 SE or PC360 (have the PC350 SE myself) or perhaps the Audio Technica ATH-ADG1 along with a decent sound card.
