I must have gone crazy and had a life for a brief while.
Remember than short period when all you guys wondered why it was so nice in here?

Darn, only 56 on the 4th time.
Maybe I should fill the last leg with storms. Then upgrade the fires in the front.
 
Wow yeah that was a really long post you missed. Go find it... Nature towers rock, and people got up to 85 or so.
 
meh, there is custom a scenario in age of empires :conquerors. Me and 6 other ppl build towers and make sure enemies don't pass. You collect gold by trade/mining, etc and you get kings in return, which you can use to get even more gold, pass extra kings to ally or upgrade tower attack with kings 🙂 Fun 🙂 (zone.com doesn't support cd-rom games anymore, it's on http://www.gamepark.eu/en/Game.asp?H=5)
 
I got to 61...slightly different strategy...you built very few towers. I focused on a lot of water towers first and then a row of fire towers for firepower...I was slaughtering them for a long time, but I was just barely getting beat around level 55 each time and couldnt' upgrade fast enough...by that time you need some big blasts.
 
Just as a recap of the last thread:
Record using "cheats" (resizing the window and placing towers at the top and/or stacking towers using right click) - 87
Record playing normally - 83 (maybe 84)
 
my highest was 83 i think. either can't build fast enough or just can't figure out the correct placement to get higher

Someone here did the math. 83 is as good as you can do without cheating. You can stop playing now.
 
Showed Towers Defence to nephews last week and they reached 70 and 65 on their first try. I just told them to put in the middle and upgrade. They showed me Tanks and we had a blast.
 
Grrrrr this is soooo annoying! Too easy, yet I'm improving on the strategy - but it takes 15 minutes to find out of the improvement worked.
