Asteroid Tower Defense-esque RTS game

Has anyone heard of Blackspace? Browsing around kickstarter made me come up to their page. The introductory video has certainly got me interested, although I'd like to heard some opinions before I pledge. It seems to be some combination of Tower Defense and RTS, with an deformable asteroid environment. If pulled off well, I can see it be quite fun. Any thoughts?

Looks decent enough. I worry about the control-ability of the lander during hectic enemy attacks. Will continue to monitor this project.

Yeah, it looks good enough for me to pledge the $15. The deformable environments etc. is what really interests me though.
