Asterix is awesome!!

Does anyone else collect them? I just bought two more off of eBay (Asterix and the Roman Agent and Asterix in Britain) 😀 I'm excited to read these again, it's been a while.

Whoa. I remember those from way back when. My brother's wife's family is from England and they used to bring over a bunch of Asterix books when I was a kid. Great stuff.

Yup, read every Asterix & Obelix book that came out in my younger days. I couldn't find any once I moved to the US from Europe.

When I was a kid I lived in Qatar and went to a British school. No DC comics over there! I am a huge Asterix and Tintin fan, still have about 90% of my collection too. I've even recently turned my fiance onto them.

My wife got me the entire Asterix collection (missing just one title) in 1999 for my birthday. She got them brand new from a place in Blacksburg, Va. Pretty good deal too back then.

Ditto. None of my friends knew about that series when I first moved here.

I'm only missing a few, some of the later comics. I should try to complete my collection.

i got the whole collection of asterix comics.. 🙂 inclduing the ones not wrtten by the original author..

I have some astrix cartoons on PAL video..

damn it i want to read some asterix now..


ppl here,. esp kids here dont read books, they should read stuff like asterix, tintin, hardyboys, famous five, secret seven, PG wodehouse and stuff.

I used to read them when i was younger.. i should start doing so agian.. i love reading story books and comics..
