I saw this 19-inch widescreen HD LCD TV at Newegg for $250 - $50 rebate + $16 shipping (3 day)

There are only three reviews at Newegg, and I can't find others. The three Newegg reviews aren't bad. I'm thinking I might try the TV out for the bedroom.

The rebate expires on 2/28/2007.

That is a pretty good deal.

On the pictures page it shows 19 inch 12ms 1440x900 resolution as one of the captions
Is that resolution correct?

Doesn't that mean that they have to stretch 720p or shrink 1080i?


If that works
Can an HDCP 22 computer monitor that runs 1440x900 native run HD reasonably well?

According to the specs, it is HD ready and there is no ATSC/QAM tuner. Still looks like a good deal though.

It seems kinda silly to advertise it as a HDTV and only provide an analog tuner.
