Associating a domain name with your ip address

I have a static ip address that I would like to host a web server on. I have registered a domain name now I need to know how to associate the domain name with the ip address. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Most places where you register the domain name on require that you have 2 DNS' pointing to your IP address, if you already did that when you registered the domain name then you are already set. If not, you'll need to find those DNS'..usually its the ISP providing you with the static IP address..but you'll need to contact them for details..Regards
