Assistance with SBlive!

Hello everyone,


Been awhile since I've been on these forums...

I just upgraded my MB to an A8N-SLI Premium and picked up an 8800GTS 320meg.

All is well with that stuff... wish I was able to find the A8N32 Delux... but waited to long.

Well now my SBlive! seems to have kicked the bucket.

I boot into Windows and it starts to play then locks up and beeps.

I tried another PCI slot and updated drivers. NOTTA !

ideas, or is she done like dinner ?

Try to disable the onboard sound card in BIOS.

first thing I did when I installed setup the bios ?

possible IRQ conflict ? but, then again would not windows detect it ?

What's with the SB Drivers ? Did you install any ??

yes I've updated the drivers as well.
