[*]Full description of the problem and symptoms
So I had this computer for about 8 months and I figured I give overclocking my comp another chance. I cannot for the life of me get my computer to not freeze during a prime95 run with FSB 455. Prime95 doesn't even have a chance to run before the computer freezes.
[*]My software:
[*]My hardware
[*]I already tried these steps:
My stable configuration is w/:
FSB 445, CPUv 1.370, DDR2v 2.0, VTT 1.2, MCH 1.25, ICH 1.50, CPU GTLREF 63%
14 hrs prime95 stable @ 63 degrees C
I tried increasing the following (this is the max value I've used so assume I've used all the volts in between):
MCH 1.370, ICH 1.60, CPUv 1.410, DDR2v 2.10,
NONE of these configurations worked and as soon as I try to run prime95, the comp just freezes. I do NOT get a BSOD though.
