Assistance needed with HDD repair

For the last couple months, I've been experiencing some problems with the system freezing frequently within the first ~5minutes of start up. I would usually hold the power button until it shuts off, restart and everything would be fine.

I finally got around to running SeaTools (Model ID: ST9320325AS) and I ran the long test. It runs for about 2 minutes then gives a "Section repair failure" error message.

I ran a "full erase" using SeaTools. Ran the long test again and it passed.

I then put Win7 on ran some updates, started loading programs back on, then the same issue came up and I'm back to the same "section repair failure" message when running the long test.

Is there anyway to repair this or do I have to purchase a new HDD?

Apparently you have some bad sectors, which on a full format, should be mapped out. I would get a new HDD.

Yeah, get a new HD, there is no saving the one you have, it will just get worse and worse as time goes by.
