I'm building my new PC and am in the process of assembling all the components. I'm a little confused about the reset switch. It has a black and white wire. Is the black hot or is it neutral?? According to the manual and the mobo, the reset switch is supposed to go into jumpers #5 & #7 but I'm not sure which to plug the black into and so on?

Thanks.

FYI - The power switch from the case also has a green and white wire so is green hot, neutral or other?

Thanks again.

It's just a switch. It doesn't matter how you put the wire on. There is no "live" wire, because it's just a switch.

You can put it on whatever way you like, and then switch it again a few more times, and will work just fine.

Only things like speakers, lights, fans and that kind of stuff needs to have the correct polarity.
