assign drive letters to cdrom

i was folling aournd with my cdroms and now the drive letters are screwed
how can i set my own drive letters?

In Windows 2000 and Windows XP, go into the Disk Management utility, right click the drive and select change drive letter and path. I don't know of any way of doing it in Win9x series operating systems.
