assign drive letter to removeable storage/Win2k?

Is there any way to assign my choice of drive letters to external removeable storage devices like SyQuest or Iomega drives under Win2kpro?

Using Control Panel/Administrator tools/computer management/storage/disk mgmt I can alter CD drive letter assignment just fine. But external removeable storage doesn't show up there with the option to change drive letters.
