assembly question

is it "bad" to assemble my new rig as i get the parts??? I have the mobo, the CPU fan, and the case. im getting the rest this week, but wanted to put my mobo in the case at least and kind of store it there until the rest of the stuff arrives...

is it safe in the case, waiting, or should i keep it in the box until i got all parts ready?

It really doesn't matter, when I built my first PC I did the same
thing but longer because I bought the parts when I had the money.
Took about 6 months to collect all of the parts.
