Assembling my new PC, am I forgetting anything?

Ok guys, here's a list of everything I'm gettin for my new pc (upgrading from a p2 266, woot!). What I'd like to know is if the price is good ($CDN), if I'm forgetting something, or I have a crappy part on the list. I'm trying to get mostly top of the line stuff. So, here goes:

AMD ATHLON XP 1600+ 1.4GHZ 256K FSB266 OEM
GLOBAL WIN WBK68 SOCKET A COOLER BALL BEARING 3PIN
EPOX EP-8KHA+ ATX KT266A SOCKETA DDR AGP 6PCI ATA100 w/ SOUND
MICRON PC2100 256MB DDR 266MHZ CAS2.5 OEM
1.44 MB High Density Floppy Drive
SAMSUNG SYNCMASTER 950P 19IN 18VIS .26MM 16X12 COLMON
LEADTEK WINFAST TITANIUM TH GEFORCE 2 250/400MHZ 5NS 64MB DDR W/ TV-OUT
ANTEC SX1030 20IN ATX PERFORMANCE TOWER 4/5.25 6/3.5 2/FAN 300W
ACER FM56-PM 56K VOICE MODEM V.90 & K56FLEX INT W/ SPK JACK
SOUND BLASTER LIVE V2.0 VALUE W/ DIGITAL OUT OEM
NEC NR-7800A 16X10X40 CDRW JUSTLINK INT. IDE OEM WO/ SW
CREATIVE FOUR POINT SURROUND FPS2000 DIGITAL
D-LINK DFE-530TX FAST PCI 10/100
1 Year Parts & 3 Years Labour Limited Warranty On System Components

I'm also adding 256megs of the same Micron DDR ram, and an LG CRD-8521B 52x CD-ROM. And I didn't forget the hard drive, I've already purchased a 40gig maxtor diamondmax 7200 rpm as well as keyboard, and mouse.

The total (w/o tax) is $1,893.99.
Thanks for your help guys.

Planning on using this as a gaming machine too? If so any way to push up the GeForce2 Ti2 card to GF3Ti200? You building it or from a OEM?

I'd love to be able to get a Geforce 3, but unfortunately, in Canada, they're close to 400bucks when I can get the GF2 for around 220. And that's from an OEM

Anyways, thanks for the replies guys, forgot about the surge protector 😉

i would bump up the heatsink/fan to an alpha pal8045. great heatsink and, best of all, it cools quietly! also, i've heard some really good things about the new logitech z560 speakers. maybe you should look into them. other than that, it looks great!

globalwin WBK68 will get the job done but i recommend the alpha8045, if your motherboard can support the massive thing.

and instead of SB live, get an SB Audigy since ppl tend to have lots of sound cracking and popping when SB Lives are used with a VIA chipset motherboard.

i highly recommend buying 80mm case fans for both intake and exhaust. if you have an available PCI opening, get a system blower also.
