Assembling a duron system.

I love my K7S5A and for 64$@PCdynamic.com you can't go wrong, IMO, and it also allows you to upgrade later as it has 2 DDR as well as 2 sdram slots and support for the fastest AMD CPUs.

In DDR, stay away from the Ali chipset, IMO, since it is the slowest one out there even slower than the KT133A. From Via, I would also avoid the KT266, but the KT266A is okay - just not readily available yet. The best chipset that is currently available is the SiS 735 which can be had in the ECS K7S5A that DAPUNISHER mentioned. The KT266A will beat it and it looks like a toss up between the KT266A and the nForce. Next best chipset available right now is the AMD 761 chipset. In other words, if you are looking right now, go with the SiS 735 or AMD 761. If you can wait, pay attention to the KT266A and the nForce.
